Senior Engineer

Dixon Marine Services, Inc. (DMS) is an oceanographic and wetland restoration firm specializing in wetland habitat restoration, water quality monitoring, and sediment investigation. DMS has an immediate opening for a Project Manager/Senior Engineer. The position will include managing environmental mitigation, water quality monitoring, environmental dredging projects and marine sediment investigations. 

The position will require a strong marine or engineering background, excellent writing skills, competent in Word and Excel. Knowledge of fluid flow, pump curves, mechanical dredging and Hypack or other navigational programs a plus. A firm grasp of environmental chemistry would be helpful. 

We are looking for someone capable of; managing staff, budgets, schedules and writing reports. Must have a strong work ethic, a self-starter and be willing to travel throughout the Western Seaboard. Bathymetric survey skills 
and water quality instrumentation experience welcomed. 


Qualifications:
BS/MS minimum 8 years experience in Marine Science, Engineering or Fishery Biology.
